This sleeping bag is impressive. It is a double bag that can be separated into two separate sleeping bags. The thing that sets this bag apart from most other double sleeping bags is that the hood is removable. That means you're not left with one sleeping bag that's extra long and one that is regular length when separated.This sleeping bag has many features that stand out when you use it as a double bag. The top of the bag has zippered cell phone pockets on the inside for both sides. If you separate the bag into two individual bags, one will have both of the pockets and one will have no pockets.The hood has a nice deep pocket to hold pillows in place and keep them from slipping off the edge of the bed. The hood does not have a drawstring or any way to tighten or cinch it up, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The top of the sleeping bag has a thick baffle at the back that helps to keep air out. The front of the bag has a slightly smaller baffle at the neckline.The zippers on this bag are anti-catch with easy to grab pulls on the outside. All of the zippers have special trim on the inside to keep them from catching the inner material of the sleeping bag. There is an extra wide Velcro flap that protects your neck from the top of the zipper. There is quite a large gap at the bottom of the bag between the two side zippers. This will allow some ventilation but also can allow air in that may be undesirable.This sleeping bag also comes with two blankets that attach to the inside of the bag and overlap slightly in the middle. This enables you to customize the warmth level for the individual sides of the bag as well as to maintain that additional warmth component if you separate them out into individual sleeping bags.The bottom of the bag has three loops that can be used to hang the bag up for storage or for airing out. I was very impressed with the quality of this bag and the warmth of the bag.The sleeping bag comes with its own compression bag for storage. It is quite tight and I had a difficult time getting the bag to come out of its stuff sack. In order to get it back in the bag, it took a bit of effort and coordination between two people. We also use Velcro straps to tighten the bag down and hold it in a compressed manner which I highly recommend.
