It's large, and my 6-foot-tall son can stand in it. It lets the breeze in while proving nice shade. Very happy with this. Everything actually fits back in the carry bag when done! I was trying to find a beach canopy that one person could set up instead of the big heavy canvas ones that take 3-4 people to set up.I didn't even have time to read the instructions before I got to the beach.It is truly an amazing fabric...sand falls right off.It comes with a SHOVEL, so getting sand into the little bags at the foot of each corner was super simple and the sand comes RIGHT out when you are done and dump it.It had been a couple weeks since I looked at the video, so I wasn't quite sure where the 2 poles go. But I figured it out quickly...just put them towards the front where the name is written.It does NOT do well in heavy wind, but to be honest neither does my beach umbrella. This is much better than a sun umbrella.As the instructions say, stretch the fabric out all the way and when you fill the "sandbags" at each corner, stretch them farther still. That provides the most stable canopy.I can have it up and sitting under it in 3-4 min. LOVE it! It is so light weight and small I can stick it in my beach bag.I used this beach tent for the first time yesterday and I was impressed. It is very simple to set up. Just stretch it out and fill the corner pockets with sand using the included plastic scoop. Then place the poles under the fabric in a position that works for you. Voila! Shade! It is one of the best designed products I've ever used. The magic ingredient is the stretchy, tough fabric that the tent is made of. The sand doesn't stick to it much when you go to put it away. Just flip the corner pockets inside out and shake it off a bit and you're ready to go. I haven't tried it using the ground stakes, included for non sandy locations, but I think that will be equally effective.I ordered this for our vacation in Florida. It was so light weight with a carrying strap that we carried it on the plan as a carry-on bag. It only took about 5 minutes to set up and PERFECT SHADE!!! Also, the way it is set up creates your own little island.....leaves plenty of space around you, especially considering the Covid distance recommendations!!! It felt a good 10-15 degrees cooler under it!!! We were a family of 5 adults and 1 infant. THERE WAS PLENTY OF SHADE FOR ALL!!!! Disassembly was as quick and easy as assembly!! I highly recommend this product. GET ONE, OR TWO (LOL), YOU WON'T BE SORRY!!!!!Fill the bags more than you think you should. Great item once you figure it out.This is probably our favorite purchase from Amazon. We've used this tent a dozen times at the beach in Pensacola, FL. The blue light shines through it and it makes everything comfortable and amazing. It comes with a nice bag and everything goes back in for the next use very easily. Setup takes just minutes as you scoop sand into the arms as weights. It's great!
